I had to look that up also...from http://www.trginc.net/onlinesales/mapp.htm:

"Some manufacturers place into effect "Minimum Advertised Price Policies" or MAPP.
The purpose of this policy is to promote and protect their brand image.
MAPP Policies prevent retailers from advertising below the MAPP Price.
This does not, however, prevent the retailer from selling the product for less.

Manufacturers are very strict with violations of MAPP.
Each manufacturer has different requirements regarding MAPP.
There are even a few that require you call for best price."
 
Thank you NaturalMystic- my search-fu was busted.
This is the closest I'm gonna get to a xm-18... and I actually like the looks of the 0560 better!

You're welcome. This is probably the closest I'm gonna get to owning an XM-18 too, at least in the immediate future.
 
on another site i read that the 0561 is being made first and will be available first.
can this be confirmed?
