Hey what kind of pre-amp/headphone amp is that in the first picture????

I have one of these just like it incoming, except with black G10 that I will change to textured CF, but the orange looks great!

I think the Orange looks great as well. This color is definitely eye-popping/stimulating, but I keep eyeing the Pond Scum scale. I'll undoubtably commandeer one in the very near future.

Surprisingly, the Xm-18 has more heft than I suspected for a 3.5" blade. It feels like a mini meat cleaver. The lockup is tight, early, and overall appears quite durable. A good thing because I use (open and close but don't abuse) my folders quite frequently. Lock wearability/longevity is one of my main concerns with frame-lock folders. I love knives that don't require coddling. My initial impressions of the XM-18 are favorable and its attributes fit nicely into my growing collection.

Here is a quick pic of my XM 3.5 EDC after a couple years of daily use ( No Coddling, believe me)
Knife shows Zero signs of wear anywhere.

Right on!

If these knives could not stand up to what I dish out....it's how I came to Hinderer in the first place. I gave several other knives an honest shot, but the XMs are what's right for me (wants/needs).

Pond Scum is how I roll on my primary 3.5. I've got orange on a couple others, a few other scale colors too, but no matter what I put on my Gen 4 3.5 primary, I keep going back to the Pond.
And will until I can score some textured Ti. Because once you go textured Ti, it's near impossible to go back.

Usagee, nice knife, is your new XM-18 from the run of 3.5" knives Hinderer is making now ?

Awesome Headphone RIG!!!!!!! Thanks for the info. High end audio and high end knives seem to be a common trait.
