“Bird*N*Trout” in Sycamore Burl

This is a new B&T design coming out of the Jarrett Knives shop. A must have for the avid bird
hunter or fisherman. It’s great for delicate work. Easy to hold and manipulate with the sharpness
and edge retention that only O1 can give you.

Note: I've posted this piece in a few locations online so the first "I'll take it” gets it based on timestamp.
A reply here precedes PM’s and emails.

SPECS

Bolsters: 416 Stainless Steel

Pins: 3/32” 416 Stainless Steel

Is this going to be a semi production knife for you? I would really like one, just don't have the funds right now. Litterally a day late.

Hi jnich005 -

Yes, the knife design is one that I make on a semi-regular basis. However, I know I'll ever come across any more dyed Sycamore burl that will match this in figure and complexity.

If you are truly interested in this particular knife, I have no problem working with you to hold it for a month or two. We are all in this cruddy economy together so why not work together.
Drop me an email at info@jarrettknives.com and we can discuss.

Take care and God Bless...

Other Folks....Until I hear from him (if I do) this piece is still available. If he contacts me and wants to work it out then I'll change it to SPF.

Wayne, my friend. I usually don,t post alot of comments on this for sale section. But, this could be my favorite of all your knives. Boy would she be sweet in ivory. Great looking knife.

Wayne,

I am not an avid hunter, so please forgive this naive question - what is the semi-circular cut out for near where the blade meets the bolster?

BTW, spectacular knife.

Andy - thanks buddy. Coming from you that is a huge compliment. I'm humbled. BTW - thanks to your comment, now I know what to do with that ancient walrus ivory that I've been sitting on. Hmmmmm.....Cool. ;)

Geode - It's actually called a "Spanish Notch" from way back....but on this piece it is purely to break up the long belly of the knife and give it a bit more interest.

Whoa, whoa, whoa - received this knife today - spectacular!!! What else can you say?
THANKS Brother!!!

Oz - Thanks a bunch for the kudos on the Sycamore B&T, I'm glad you like it.

BTW - Stay tuned for a couple of new knives this coming weekend.
If you liked the TCEDC "Twisted Cripple" EDC (my affordable version) then you're going to love it when "his family" comes to visit. Meaning...a few of the TCEDC's big brothers will be ready to go this weekend.

The "TC'SurVivoR", a mid-sized hunter 8 3/8"
and
The "TC'ReCoN", a nice mid-sized camp knife at 10 1/2"

The ends of the TC'ReCoN and the TC'SurVivoR have been designed to be used with ferrocerium (mischmetal) fire starters so you don't have to scuff up your blade anymore.

The "Family" thing is the fact that they are the evolution of the TCEDC style and they sport the same ergonomic handle design....so stay tuned!

hi Wayne. I love this knife, I will be calling you for one of these soon, maybe make the handle out of stag if possible.

Tobin - I'm honored by your comment. Much appreciated my friend.

TacBlade - Email reply sent.

Snipe609 - Email me at info@jarrettknives.com to discuss. I'd love to get another of my knives in your hands. (BTW - I have the new "big brothers" to the Twisted Cripple EDC that you bought almost ready to go. Let me know if you want me to send pics of these to you for review before I go live with them here on the forums. IMHO, they are going to make a great "family" of blades. Also - FYI - another batch of TCEDC's are almost ready to go.) P.S. You need to update your profile with your email address so it's easier to get a hold of you. ;)

I'm happily surprised at the popularity of this particular Bird &Trout knife. I have several new special orders for them so if anyone else is interested in getting one in the near future let me know so I can include you in the next batch and we can avoid further delay.

Note: since the red dyed Sycamore burl scales were one of a kind, I'm now in search for equally amazing handle material for the new ones. If you would like one and have a preference in handle material let me know that as well. My email is info@jarrettknives.com

Thanks everyone - I'm humbled by your interest in my work. Take care and God Bless.
