I made another Stinger Knife which is available for sale. Below are the details. I’ve got a new knife that will be popping up soon here this week as well. It definitely takes longer to design a knife from scratch, then to make one you’ve already designed; but I still love it!

Shop Details:
The steel I used on this knife is ½ ton Leaf Spring. I designed the knife style on paper, then cut the shape out. I forged it at approximately 1500 degrees until blade became nonmagnetic, then quenched in oil. Mirror finish. Tempered at 400 degrees for 1 hour, letting it air cool, then putting it in 1 more hour at 400. Blade was file tested for hardness. Very hard.

I made the handle out of Bocote wood and pined it with brass and epoxy. I hand stitched the sheath out of dark gator hide.

Measurments:
Overall length is 10 ¼ inch. Blade is 5 ½ inch long. Handle is 4 ¾ inch long. Blade width is 1 3/16 inch. Blade thickness is 3/16 inch.

Asking $115 which includes shipping & sheath, if shipped in the US. You can send through Paypal to ScorpionBows@mchsi.com or mail M/O to our address (see web site for address).

Below are shop pictures and pictures of the finished knife.
