“Girly” colored knives?

My wife loved this color, so had to get it.

I believe this knife was anodized, haven't seen any in this color.

This one was made for a lady:

Turquoise spacer kinda goes both ways, guys like it too but is also very popular with the ladies:

All of the women around our outfit carry knives. But most are chosen for size rather than a girly appearance.

Dyed and stabilized woods have been popular too:

DocJD DocJD , how do you like that Comercial Series Cold Steel knife? I was thinking about buying something like that to use in my camper van. Having a sheath is mandatory and I could buy a decent knife and bend some Kydex, but if this one comes with a sheath... it will be easier.

Does the steel, blade thinkness and grind serve the purpose of being a knife chefs knife? Or is it too thick? I wouldn't buy exaclty the one you have there, but the 10" chefs knife instead (suitable for chopping on a board without hitting your knucles).

Thanks!

My daughters asked me if knives come in colors for girls. So I am looking for some “girly” colored knives.
Show us - post up what your wife or daughter EDCs. I need some ideas! 😁
Okay, maybe a little out of the way, but I have some small experience with this. I don't know what sort of knives you have in mind, like super premium tactical automatics or simple pocket folders, but I have given knives to girls a couple times. First, I would put in a word for the L'Ecureuil or Mini L'Ecureuil by Douk Douk (aka "Squirrel Knife"). It is basically a douk-douk with a spear point blade, the nickle-plated handle, and with a cute squirrel and french writing on the side instead of the traditional markings. It will usually take some work to get the blade usable, but it is very easy to sharpen and takes an extremely fine edge. The whole knife is extremely thin and easy for a female to carry even if they want to wear tight pants. It will also sit nicely in a purse. It is a slip joint knife so no legality issues mostly, but the spring is quite strong, and it has a safety position so it won't close on your fingers. I gave Mini Ecureuils to my nieces for Christmas, thought they should have knives, and these are non-threating and useful for small tasks that most people have to deal with. The full sized one is maybe just a bit too large, and not as "cute". I have one and I actually like it a lot. You can also add a decorative lanyard, which can be as feminine as you like. Which brings me to my next suggestion, you can just modify an existing knife. I like to add a small (usually two inches or so) braided lanyard to my knifes just to make it easier to draw them, and for decoration, and I add a decorative item of some sort to the end, usually some washer or nut I found in the ground (a rusty washer looks pretty cool with the rust removed, I think). But I have added pink or purple lanyards to a few knives, it's an easy easy to add some character, and it can make (almost) any knife suitably feminine without being made for it. I have an OD green Kershaw Blur (I think) that I added a pink lanyard to. The green and pink actually look great together, and with the knife starting to show some wear and patina, I think the combo is great. And I have a black on black Benchmade Bugout that got a purple lanyard, again it looks pretty cool. So a girl can have a knife of her choice but still proudly display her femininity.
I also gave my sister an iridescent folder years ago, but I can't recall what brand it was. Probably a Buck or Kershaw. I remember it was a very pretty knife, but I never used it.

My wife's EDC is a little SAK Alox MiniChamp. She also likes purple, but has yet to claim my PM2. There is also the smaller Para 3 version of that purple and black. If the girls like bright colors, there are also the yellow and green of the Salt series. My own preference of this little group is the CF Chaparral.

For a SAK Classic, there are many colors available. Here is the display from the London Victorinox store.

Just search for "GEC Acrylics". Then be prepared to hold onto your wallet.

but if this one comes with a sheath..
IMO , decent knives for camp cooking and really any kind of regular food prep we do ( not fancy stuff maybe) .

Mine came with sheath , marginal for much carry , but fine for storage and transport . Mine , pictured , is the "Scalper" .

But : I don't think the 10" chefs comes with a sheath , so be sure to check that to make sure !

I carry this Hougue Microswitch myself but I think it might be fitting for a lady too. Hogue calls the color Aquamarine but I've also seen it referred to as Teal. Comes in 3 blade options. Mine has the California legal blade but the other two blade options are longer blades.

The Microswitch is an automatic but they also offer the Microflip in the same colors.

I have to apologize, things got squirrely and it may take me a bit to dig out some of the pretty finished knives!

For the record I am a huge fan of colorful, cool looking knives. Like the Latt Vind mini macaroon, they didn't have to make it a nearly unique shade of G10 with a weird little biscuit filling inlay, but they did, and they did it perfectly, and it's one of their best budget knives even though nobody talks about the thing.

Younger me always wanted everything to be blackened, distressed, MAYBE bronzed, always in an appropriately 'masculine' aesthetic theme. I still think the 0804CF is gorgeously black, I still love a well-done dark scheme, and I will always have a place for the raw Ti or working type tumbled or blasted finishes, but if I only had black or grey knives today I would eat some of them.
