Technical tour de force, no doubt....without peer.

I'm wondering if the ivory balls are loose or fixed in some way and how they are not going to crack?

The balls are 4140, gold plated. Ivory would be a challenge to maintain in the same location for sure.

Bruce is to knife making as Van Gogh and Picasso are to art. Absolutely superlative work.
