I really like where you are going with these.
Forgive me if I have missed it, wouldn't bead blast or stone finish be cost effective option for this model?
Keep up the good work.
Rudolph needs a red & white 1😉

Thank you! A blasted finish will be available, I am working on the options and keeping everything streamlined right now. Stone wash won't be an option at the moment, but possibly down the road. The number of components involved can complicate things.

Premium options like CPM steels and GunKote finishes give it a nice touch, and have been very popular so far, with my crowd. I will probably offer a "Custom Shop" option, but it will have to be an upcharge, primarily for the time involved in order fulfillment if everything is not alike. Thank you for the feedback!😎😎👊👊

You might consider soaking the cord in epoxy. West Systems makes great clear epoxy with various cure times. It can be thinned to soak into cord nicely.

You can use Hornady One Shot spray case lube on the handle and then wrap the soaked string over it. That way it will stay put, be washable and removable later on if need be.

I use the case lube spray on rifle barreled actions when I bed them and have for years. Never stuck one and I've done about a 100 or so.

Thank you. I have tried/offered different cord wrap and handle treatment options (including epoxy soak) in the past, and most clients are just not interested in it. They prefer the simple cord wrap and round handle. I agree on the potential benefits of preventing the cord from absorbing liquids/matter, but it seems they would rather just remove the cord or clean it. Thank you for the suggestions though, I appreciate the feedback!
