The unofficial thread for older and nostalgic knives. I know we all have some older gems hidden around. Used, unused, folders, fixed blades, axes, swords, traditionals, production or customs…all welcome here!!

Super excited to see your gems!!

I’ll start this off…

Kershaw Thistle and Kershaw OD2 (Overdrive)

Let’s have a “blast” with this thread! (whomp whomp)

Please only photos of knives you still own. And must be your photos. :) No links please.

In 1985 a friend and I ordered some 9" Kissing Crane stilettos from a catalog (one for each of us). It might have been a SMKW catalog. We had to order one for his dad as well, a bribe to get him to write the check.

I carried that knife daily for the next 16 years, and I used it for a wide range of cutting tasks (typical pocket knife cutting).

They were so close... if they would have put a pocket clip on the knife, the sheath with the belt clip wouldn't have been needed.
There's supposed to be a way to have the knife open as you draw it from the sheath, but I could never figure it out.
If anyone has one let me know:)

I got this in the early 1980's.

Is it all ivory handles?
