i ground this form 1/4'' 01, the handle is elk, and the fittings are ss.
the guard and butt cap are textured with a ball peen finish. the blade has a satin finish.

the butt cap is also fileworked to the contour of the stag.

It is just about 12'' oa. and the blade is 1 1/2'' wide at plunge and 6 7/8'' tip to guard


i will try and get better pics if need be.

Sheath will be made by Paul Long, and will also ship with a padded zipper case, S&H included

Beautiful. I love O-1 steel and I love Bowies! What are the measurements if you don't mind me asking?
 
o.a. is just under 12'', blade is 6 7/8'' tip to guard and it's 1 1/2'' wide at plundge.

That's a sweet one Andrew. Really like the care you took to match up the border of the butt cap to the antler. It's those touch's that make the difference. Good on ya! :thumbup:
 
thanks, the pith of the handle was completley removed and poured solid with a slow set epoxy.
