here's one i recently finished it's 15 5/8'' of 1/4'' 01 tool steel. The blade was hand rubbed to 800 grit, then rubbed out with a polishing compound. I then gave it a quick etch, to take away that reflective shine.

It kind of has a polished gun metal grey color to it., the blade is flat ground with a convexed edge(hair popp'en sharp!!!), and i did a good deal of cutting / chopping with this one before finishing, and it performs very well,it was taking down 1- 1 1/2'' saplings once swiing no problem, would work very well for clearing shooting lanes, or an entire campsite. in my opinion of course, but i guess im partial to it:p

The handle is ironwood burl and has a nice palm swell to it, and the pins are nickle.

It will also have a leather lanyard, but i forgot it in the pics.

Price is $275

still here if interested in something similar, but maybe a different steel contact me, as i will be starting to forge again this comming week.

I own one of Andrew's knives and I use the heck out of it. I make my own now, but I still like using the one that I got from him. This chopper is a great deal, and if my wife would let me I would scoop this baby up in a heartbeat. Yea I am whooped, so what. Lol.
