I did a slightly different grind on this knife than normal. It is a near full height sabre grind to .030 and was then convexed to an edge of .015 and then sharpened to a razor's edge. My thoughts are that this edge geometry will give you good edge stability while not leaving you with the shoulder of a flat grind to a convex edge.
