0346RWS -B Rosewood Vantage

Kinda bugs me though, that they have the wood inlaid into zytel and got rid of the sandvik
 
I agree, the older Rosewood models looked better. I'm not too sure why the added the polymer enclosure, but I can understand why they changed the blade steel. From what I've read on the forum, they went back to 420HC since it was a made in the USA steel.

I just received one of the newer Rosewood models, they are very nice, but I still like the older model better.
 
well now I have another knife to add to my wishlist. cause I need to start searching the bay and mazon for the ones I want
 
I'm not anti synthetic material. Dymanwood is fine by me.

But this combination just doesn't do it for me.
 
so not to bump this annoyingly but I need a hand. But I can not find the 341 version rosewood vantage. One of the actual vendors had one listed on their site so I placed the order but I knew there was a chance it was a glitch. Well it was a glitch and they dont have one. I can find the large version relatively easily so I may end up getting that, but trying to fill out my vantage collection and going with the harder ones first

Maybe email Larry Oden..... he is a member here, and an authorised Buck dealer, and VP of the collector's club.
He could at least find out for you if they have even been available yet etc....
And you could order one, so when they are made available, you will have your place in line already :)
I did that with the 830 Marksman, and it was well worth the wait!
Also, he has a consignment list of people's collections, so he might have something you have been searching for.
 
Since they redid the regular buck site they don't list the rosewood on there last i checked unless its hiding somewhere. Ive submitted to some of the other knife vendors "email me when in stock" but they've been out for awhile too. I'll give that guy a try sometime, thanks. I guess i can just move on to the vantage force line in the mean time.
