.040 Kydex??

There's someone on Ebay selling .040 sheets of kydex. Can anyone tell me if this would be suitable to make sheaths?

I would think it would be a little thin. You may be able to double it up though...

.040 is WAY to thin. .060 is thin also. I have only used it on some very small neck sheaths. I only use .080 Boltaron for all my sheaths and I do about 40+ a month. That is an excellent price though on that .060.

Yea, that's what I thought! I only make smaller kydex usually, so the .060 works great for me. I have also used it in leather / nylon for liners. Couldn't pass up the price to keep me in stock for awhile...

By all means that is a super price. If I still used Kydex I would jump on that just for some little neckers.

I've never used it, so don't quote me, but it could be usable for folders or like TekSec said, double (or triple) it up.

How big of a piece of .060 are you needing?
