Got an issue maybe someone can help me with...I just got a ZT 0551 and also bought some replacement Hinderer red g10 scales for it. I went to take the black scale off, and the pivot WOULD NOT HARDLY BUDGE. I've had Loctite before, but it's usually easy to overcome. This one just does not want to unscrew at all. Any help? I'm using a regular old T8 torx bit, never had this problem before.
Thanks,
Scott

You can use a soldering iron or hold it in a pot of boiling water with the pivot below the surface to heat it up. It will not affect the heat treatment-it is not hot enough.

If you can not turn the screw at all with the torx driver, try using a t8 torx bit with a ratchet for more torque. If the pivot is spinning, open the blade and hold it flat against a hard surface and apply downward pressure to the handle while trying to unscrew the pivot.
