It had been hinted on the Spyderco forum, by a member who attended Amsterdam this year, that magnamax was going to become the base steel for the G10 Golden models.

I have no proof of this either way. And I don't know what this would mean for Salt models (is magnamax as corrosion resistant as magnacut?)

No way has the cave out in Golden, CO they stacked deep with S30V run out. Be pretty wild if that's true.
