0770CF varient?

Shows on coming soon page on other site other than BHQ as well

Just because it shows up there, doesn't mean it's going to happen. The last time someone mentioned this, Thomas said it was news to him.

Yeah, they can't keep up with making the ELMAX vers..... LOL

If there was going to be a special run in M390 we all would have heard about it before now....

Yep, it would have been sold out before they even started building the darn thing too. :D

Just got done testing the 0770CF, it's one heck of a knife, full test process.
I have the regular 0770 and it's good, the CF is on the list.
The elmax on my aluminum 0770 sucks bad IMO... So why is it that the cf version would be so much better?
What makes you think the regular 0770 sucks? Compared to what? If you say something sucks, at least provide some details to make your point.

It's really nice, about as flawless as I have seen in any price range.

And it can take some serious use, will post my test and review in a few days in the testing section...

Overview Video is up on my YT page.

I'll watch that one for sure. So far, with the factory edge, I've cut about 350 linear feet of cardboard and it still has a good working edge. Whittled several furring strips, stripped cable, zip ties, etc. No complaints from me.

I have 6-8 ZTs in Elmax and love they stuff......The 0770CF is a great knife but did take alittle time to adjust to the light weight compared to my other ZT blades. Its a good thing just different

Yeah, that sounds about right. :)

Mine did 340 cuts on 5/8" manila, stropped it a few times, cut some thick dirty cardboard and wood after..... That's with my edge and at 15 DPS.

And it would still slice printer paper easy after...

400 cuts that's darn good.Elmax is good stuff and a quite tuff for stainless.I prefer it over S30V for my uses.

It was actually 340, was a misprint. :)

But you get the idea.

Nothing wrong with ELMAX at all.

It works well for me as a hunter who prefers stainless.I have had to use it hard when it was the only knife on hand. It performs better than some other stainless steels such as S30v from my experiences. It's a good balanced stainless and the corrosion resistance is a plus.Zero issues.
