I am making a rule change. No one gets the knife...just joking :p. Here is the new deal. What I am going to do is instead of doing the "closest number game" is that I am going to do a straight drawing. I will take all names that have been posted here on this thread, put them in a sack or covered jar of somekind and have my brother draw a name. That person will then be the winner. I should have done this before. One of the reasons that I am doing this is because there is a tie at this point between two people and the other is the fact that a random drawing provides a fair and even playing field for all involved. I am sorry for any problems that this may have caused anyone. Feel free to email me or send me a private message here at Bladeforums with any and all concerns that this may cause. Thanks everyone. S now we don't have to pick a number ? :D Well, wouldn't want to deprive you of a fruit of your work anyway, if you find a source of ANY knifeworthy material (a decent heat-treatable high carbon or stainless steel) PLEASE let me know. Yes, i know about steel supplies who sell it by the foot but all i want is just one eetsy bitsy piece, some 5" * 11" x 3/8" in size. 51200, L6, 440A, 1084, D2, anything, i want to have a go at the real stuff and it's impossible to find any locally. Junk yards (old cars) don't sell their stuff ?! There are no shops selling good quality steel around (just the mild type, unsuitable for knives). Maybe i'm not lucky enough to win something but i sure hope to be lucky enough ti find a source of smaller stuff with reasonable shipping prices :D
