1/16" pins too small?

Are 1/16" pins too small for a small slipjoint about 2" long. Was going to use them for pinning spring in two places. Still would use 3/32" for blade pivot.

Will work fine. I've used the same for small slips but like you said, 3/32" is best for pivot.

dittos on the pin size info from Don. I've noticed on the Case tiny toothpicks that the pins they use seem pretty big for the knife. It doesn't seem to mess with the looks but I wonder how much material is around the pins on the spring. They use wire gauge sized pin material though, not fractional.
