1-2-3 setup

1. BK7

2. BK4, BK16

3. BK4, BK7, BK16

These games make my head hurt. When I imagine a world where I don't have too many great BK's to chose from, I feel sad.

Thanks guys! Lots of awesome almost-infinite combo - can't go wrong juggling around in between BK's!! It's insanely fast lane in Beckerdom, and fiinally opening up my eyes to the other BK's - the 4, 7, 15, 5, and so on...

As of the moment, this is my 3 knife setup, am totally hyper with this. Forgive the BK11 joins the group...

1.BK 7
2. BK7 & BK15
3. BK7, BK15, & BK4

Those are all the Beckers I currently have. All I need? Probably, but I see a 5 in my future.

1. Bk15/mora
2. Bk9 + Mora
3. Bk9 + Mora + SAK farmer/svord peasant/opinel

If I got a bk16, I think it would take over in #1, and perhaps #3.

My 9 sees a lot of use as a general camp blade. And my Mora tends to do most everything else.

1 United Cutlery fantasy dagger
2 fantasy dagger, Mtech
3 fantasy dagger, Mtech, dull butter knife

Just kidding!

1 BK7
2 BK7, BK16
3 BK7, BK16, Victorinox Huntsman

Logan, you're tighter than a frogs butthole! Buy a damn 16 already! :D :D :D

Heh, so people are starting to notice? I guess I do talk about it a fair bit. Its been on my list since before it came out (when I did the pre-production BK17 passaround), just haven't justified buying it. I keep hoping I'll win one in a contest/GAW or something, and that hope makes it easier to keep myself from buying one (even though I know its really unlikely).

While I'm not hard up for money or anything like that (good job, money in the bank), its an old habit to save money for the next big thing. In my case, that next "big thing" is getting out of an apt. When rent is almost the value of my car every month, it helps to save "all the dollars".

Yeah, I am a tightwad. Doesn't bother me though :).

This is a bit contrived, because I rarely go without two knives and a leatherman. In fact, if I'm down to one knife, it's likely my Dawson Outback. Still, for a camping situation where I was only allowed one, two, or three blades:

1. BK12
2. BK16 & BK9
3. BK14 (or Dawson Outback), BK16, & BK9

3. Bk9 bk2 bk16 once I get a bk11 or 14 thou I'd swap it for the 16 in this line up. I just haven't decided on which I wanna get yet.

Bobby, we have exactly the same setup! I also got a BK11, and can optionally swap with the BK16 depending on the job at hand. But, the BK16 ergo is just perfect!

BTW, the BK11 can sneak in to the BK9's sheath. Basically that's the (evil) plan... :D

Cool thread idea. I love the bits of snark contained here.

1. 16
2. 16 + 9
3. 16 + 9 + 11 (Endorsed by the master, himself. 9 for big jobs, 16 because it's "so damn handy", 11 because it can always be on you)

I was choosing between the 11 and 14, and Mr. Becker chimed in on of my threads here suggesting about the 11 to pair up with 16 & 9. I ended up with the 11. But the 14 is also nice to have! :foot:

Conceptually this is an interesting thread to read. It is obvious that many (myself included) are thinking in terms of being in an outdoors/bushcraft situation, hence the large single knife. But in my day to day life I actually go small and "knife up" as my activity ramps up. For example, I carry the 14 with me all the time, add a tweener for a day hike and add a large blade for out in the woods.

The Izula handle is nice, but I can't get it to open my beer :D
