This is a mini "Arkansas Hunter " (T. Bose ) , a pocketable sized rendition by John. India Sambar stag is amber dyed ,magnificent. Smooth snappy 5 pull , and "pinchable" , too. Blade seats center closed,spring is flush in all half stop positions. SS liners are miill relieved. SS pins on the stag are "spun head" SS bolster is "pinched" . Size is 3.5" closed , 6.25" open . Blade measures 2-5/8" with 2-3/8" of cutting edge. Blade & spring are CPM 154 ss. The blade is deep hollow ground,really well done with a crescent nick & cut swedge , satin finish. Knife will ship in a padded zipper pouch.

Fresh out of John's shop , and really neat. It is a load of fun to see what John creates next ,and I know he's enjoying it too. This knife,no other way to name it,maybe,but to me it is a folding chip carver. The handle is fantastic,it is well executed for a carving knife,it feels really fantastic in your hand. Full figured,gorgeous African Blackwood,in person you will see the figure on this blackwood,it is gorgeous! The knife measures 4.5" closed,full size so your hand will not cramp while carving,it's like a "ball end teardrop" would be a pretty good way to describe it. The shorty warncliffe blade is 1-3/4" with 1.5" of cutting edge. Opened up it measures 6.25". SS liners are mill relieved. Stainless bolster has that bevel I talk about all the time,at the front. Super smooth and snappy 5 pull. Blade centers,spring is flush in all half stop positions. SS pins. Blade & spring are CPM-154 ss . Hollow ground perfect,satin finish & crescent nail pull,it is "pinchable" too. Knife will ship in a padded zipper pouch.

Here is a real nice ,stout curved jack (or trapper) with warncliffe blade. Creamy mammoth,pinned & inlaid ss bar shield. SS bolster is pinched,ss pins. Liners are ss & mill relieved. A strong snappy action on this one,with firm "lock up" I'd call6 , 6+ , I like . Blade is "pinchable" . Spring is flush in all half stop positions , and the blade centers closed. CPM 154 ss blade & spring. Blade is hollow ground,has a satin finish,crescent nail pull & pronounced & well executed "drawn swedge". The knives John is putting out lately have all the bells & whistles & fit & finish you'd expect in any fine custom slipjoint folder , with an exclusive modest pricing.
