Thanks Brendan, I follow these rules and I generally find that customs are generally not interested:

1. Send the item in your personal name
2. Describe the item as "Lighting Part/Accessory" or "hand tool" or "cutlery" etc etc
3. Describe the package as a "Gift"
4. Declare a value of only US$22
5. Do not include any invoice/document indicating a price

Not sure how legal this is but hey!! saves money..

When dealing with customs anywhere anything you can do to keep your money in your pocket is legal. Since they do it to you every chance they get I figure fair play is to do the same thing.

You should be receiving my order for a BAS and 18" AK. I usually stick around the Busse forum but my nephew just got back from the Middle East and when I asked him what he'd carried he said a Khukuri, said he really loved it and so I thought I'd see what got him so excited.

Bill, could you please tell kamis to make katana with 12"(or 11", 10" is too short for 2 hands grip) for handle part?
