1/4 inche thick carbon fiber

Hmmm.. It looks black but reflects a grey colored sheen if that makes sense. I'll take a picture of what i have when i get home. I wont be able to post the picture until tommorow though.

No need postin a pic Mark. I was just curious about the color because I had a sheet of the toughest stuff I've ever seen. Took it to the hobby shop on base and the big table saw there had problems cutting it up. Passed it on to my neighbor to wrestle with. Just thought it might have been the same stuff in which case I don't even wanna mess with carbon fiber, lol!
 
As to the nastieness when grinding, keep in mind that this is the same stuff that we "crop dusted" the electrical equipment to knock it out in Gulf War I.
