1/4"

Are there any other makers besides Strider that use 1/4" blade steel for their folders? Thanks for your help.

Ed Kalfayan..made two folders for me using 1/4" stock ATS34...they were huge cutoms..(5" blades)...

I bet alot of makers would make you one using that size stock if you ask....

Don't know about anyone just putting em out as a standard offering besides the Strider guys

Actually, our blades are .190".

The closest one that I know of is the Spyderco Chinook at 5/32" or .15625" thick. This blade is as heavy as I have ever seen in a folder, although it appears that the Striders are about 1/32" thicker. Those must be some heavy duty knives!
