1/8 inch blade is my favorite

I keep coming back to my 1/8 inch blades with 4 to 5 inch lenngths. It just seems to work better for me. I will agree that 3/16 and 1/4 inch blades are stronger and cooler looking but 1/8 inch is better imo.
 
Unless we're talking about a sufficiently wide blade, I agree. A thinner blade will give you superior cutting geometry.
 
No doubt. I have been looking for a thinner knife without going to a kitchen knife, for a long time. I am convinced if I had something in 1/8 inch in a Surviveknives gso 6 or an esee 6 or something like that, I would grab it first for everything I would want my knife to do. maybe 5/32 for some of the longer but really, I would love to try a 1/8 inch in a longer utility camp knife
