1" contact wheel grinder

Have had several people ask how I made my grinder and thought some here might like to see it. All the 1" contact wheels I have seen can only run for about 5 min. or so. What I did to beat that was used a 3/4" dia. shaft (turned the shaft down to 5/8 and 3/8) with 2 pillow blocks and backstand idler and put a piece of rubber tubing on the shaft and now I can run it for hrs. You could use a 5/8 shaft and then use the rubber hose which I got at Auto Zone.
