well no knife work in my shop tue. cause my wood burner will not keep up in my 30 x 40 shop. no handles to rob down in the easy chair.
whats a guy to do? my knife collection all oil down, oh boy.
 
All I can say is Brrrrrrrrrrr......bummer. I hate the cold.
 
Dam mercury is dropping here, yesterday it was 75 to 80 degrees, today it drop down pretty fast, its the number 1 reason I do not like the south.

Whittle, read a classic or maybe design a new knife

Must be that global warming folks been talkin about.
 
I feel your pain, its -4 out today with a wind chill of -13. My forge is outside but with the wind blocked its not too bad when you bundle up with layers. Indoors well I bundle up and work with hand tools to increase my body temperature, when I use a machine I take off my gloves.

You could install geothermal heating along with your wood stove, your shop would be toasty then. After you pay for the installation it only costs roughly $0.03 per day to cool or warm your shop to 56F.
