Long story short, I've ran through the run of the mill brands and knives much like everyone on here, Spyderco, BM, ZT, CRK, Hinderer, Medford.....etc etc

So about a year and about 50 knives later I find myself only using and carrying my QCQ-7, so the last week I figured why not sell off most of this stuff I don't use? (was just a few Spydercos, ZT's and some Midtechs)

Now I'm still a massive ZT fan but I figured why not just go all Emerson and ZT? and that's what I did and I don't plan on going towards any other brands at this point.

I'll continue re-buying some of the ZT's I miss, maybe some other brand designed Emerson's and searching for some discontinued Emerson's.

Last Wednesday I had 1 Emerson (my trusty CQC-7) and now today exactly 1 week later I now have 9 Emersons and 1 ZT/Emerson and won't be slowing down anytime soon.

I Just figured I would share some quick images. Anyone else go on a buying binge recently? I'm sure most of us have :)

Nice collection!

How you likin' the Sheepdog? I love mine.

A bit of advise, keep the lock face/blade tang on the Sheepdog lubed with graphite. It not only keeps it from sticking, but keeps the lock from traveling also.

^ Thanks guys,

I love the Sheepdog, its not my favorite but for company that doesn't do flippers its not bad.

Its funny you say that, because every Emerson I get the first thing I do is take it apart, clean it, oil it and add some graphite on the lock face

Wow! They sure did multiply! Which ones are you most impressed with? How you like the Spec War and..Apache?

I love the Apache, a bit big but its an awesome knife, I don't have a SpecWar, that might be the SOCFK you are seeing, its pretty similar in style to the SpecWar.

I'm actually really impressed with the P-Sark, its a wicked looking blade and I really like the size, I think the Horseman feels the best in hand.

VERY nice collection! But sorry to hear you've been bitten by the bug now ;)

In my experience, there's no known cure for the Emerson bug. The only way to treat the symptoms is to get more Emerson knives.

I wish the apache was bigger. Go figure, still an awesome design.

Op, hell of a nice collection of emersons.

Nice collection there, I was considering the Apache, but the CQC-15 and a Jungle commander are currently top of my list, followed by a non waved CQC-7 or a A-100. I've thought of slowing down but it is an obsession.

ZT collaboration while being made from better material it just don't have the "feel" of the real Emerson IMO.

I had the 0620cf. It was a really nice knife, but I traded it for a real Emerson. Not sure the material is "better" just different.

I totally agree but since I'm a huge ZT fan I had to get the 0630, I had the 0630CF but prefer the blade shape of this 0630 over the tanto.

Also picked up a Protech CQC-7 Auto tonight, wanted to give one a try, we'll see.

I don't mean to debate with you since we both are Emerson fan but can't argue that CPM-S35VN or Elmax is a better overall steel than 154CM and Ti framelock is just an upgrade over Ti liner lock.

I disagree with this "feel" quote 100% unless you mean "feel" as a pejorative. My ZT actually feels 100% better than my EKI, but I still love them both.
