1 FIXED BLADE & 1 FOLDER TO E.D.C. FOR 1YEAR WITHOUT CHANGEwhat would you pick?

For my folder, I'd go with my Endura Wave. Since I only haveone fixed blade unfortunately I'll have to pick my Busse Mud Warden :D.

What I HAVE carried for over a year is a Busse SHBA and a Lg Classic Mayonized Sebbie. Ever since Wilma.

The Sebbie has been a EDC for over 3 years and the Busse's got rotated. After Wilma, the SHBA just never left the belt.

For the folder I would carry a SAK, probably a One Hand Trekker. I'm not sure about the fixed blade.

I just made that decision, more or less, in real life. I chose three. But, in the spirit of the thread, I will go with two of those. The SRKW Howling Rat (R-C handle) and a Myochine 300 Rigging knife. ( spelling?) I don't have to go with that for a year, but several months at least.

Today I would pick a DDR2 kit knife and Hartsook Talon 2.

Last week it would have been a Buck 532 and RAT 3.

I'm still really deciding what I like, as well as what I really need...

my EDC for last 8 years has been a ATS 34 buck odyssey plain edge. If it has to be an in production knife, either a spydie cal3 or military.

I only carry a fixed when hiking, camping or hunting. This adds some concern. when hunting, I am expecting to be using it for field dressing and for this i have been using a BRKT mini canadian. works like a scalpel but stay sharp for a long time. Canoeing/camping i am expecting fish, and I hope a lot of them. There I usually just use an older fillet knife. works better and is pretty specialized. If i had to combine the two uses and stick to only one knife, it would probably be a BRKT Fox river, a good knife for all around but not the best in the two places I would like to use it most. gutting deer and cleaning fish.

Folder - Large classic Sebenza

FB - Graham Brothers midtech Razel

Hmmm...a rather unrealistic scenario. Can't imagine a reason why I'd have to so choose. But, if I had to...

I don't EDC a fixed blade, and if I did, it would have to be a somewhat small one. I'd take my limited edition Al Mar Shiva.

Then, if I was carrying that fixed blade, I'd have no reason to carry a similar sized and function folder, so I'd take my Leatherman ChargeTi multitool.

If multitools weren't "allowed" by the scenario, I guess my Dog Paw Large Sebenza would be my folder.

I'd rather choose one large Pelican case full of folders, and one large Pelican case full of fixed blades. Much better scenario :)

Strider SnG, Swamp Rat Camp Tramp in a Bladetech sheath.

You mean some of you guys actually don't carry for a year?

Wow.
I normally ECD 3-4 folders....I have to pick just one???
My folder would have to be my BM 940sbk,
For my fixed, I have one of David Farmers (BF member/makers) fixed that I really like. It is bullet-proof and tough as nails.

I would miss haveing several folders on my...So many questions... left/right front/back

My Graham mid tech razel w/ kydex pocket sheath and spydie manix........ while though I have many other knives this has been my edc setup for over a year (with one exception, I carried my new Graham drop point with orange g 10 handles during deer season)
