A couple weeks back I contacted NCCNC about a little project I had been wanting to do since Xmas but didn't have the ability. I had a modded head and tail cap from 2 completely different flashlights that matched up externally but were different threads all together. The head from a Fenix E21 and a P60 style tail cap. I wanted to somehow make it run on a single CR123 but turning parts on a lathe is beyond my capabilities.

I PM'd him asking for his help which he was more than happy to provide. I offered to pay, he refused, I offered to send pizza/beer money, he refused, I offered to at the least send money for his materials, again he flat out refused to accept anything at all. I shipped him the head and tail and within one week he sent me back pictures of the completed light and I had it back a few days later.

Damian is an outstanding machinist and a invaluable member of our community. Thank you again man, as simple as this was for you it was literally impossible for me. The little flashlight has rode in my pocket since I got it back.

For anyone interested in the details of the light, its a 2-mode light with a copper mounted XP-E2 (that's the modded part of the fenix head), it runs at .9A on low and 1.8A on high and for being a tiny little single CR123 light it throws really well cause of the XP-E2 emitter and deep SMO reflector. The tail cap is a forward clicky P60 style off a solarforce L2T.

Damian is a hell of a guy. I had a few negative posts in a sales thread (members and I have since made up) and NCCNC was quik to PM me with some positive words. What a great man!
