There have been a bunch of fake China made stilettos showing up with the AKC etch on the size you have. Most are pretty well made and extremely hard to tell the difference between. Yours is the real deal Italian. Because they are somewhat hard to tell, that's why I asked. Once again, yours is a genuine Italian knife. :thumbup:

Here is the easiest way of telling the fakes from the real thing... Notice the letter spacing difference in the "Made in Italy" and the "Stainless" on the real etch. It doesn't extend as far out above "Stainless". Also the block letters are somewhat different.
