It's hard to believe, but I'm finally selling the last non-Sebenza in my CRK collection. I once had 2 of these prototype Umnumzaan's, sold one and sent this one back to CRK for Chris to examine. It was purchased as "New, Old Stock" when I purchased it from a reputable dealer; however; I had suspensions that it might have been carried and/or used. Apparently, it was his opinion was that it hadn't used but that there were "shelf scars" from being on displayed and handled by customers. After a very light touch up, the knife was now perfect in every way. This is now exactly how the knife appeared at the 2008 Blade show where it won Overall Knife of the Year. Let me know if any one would like higher resolution photos.
I'll include the very cool metal pivot tool from our member - bhyde. Original box, certificate, sticker, etc. are also included. Everything that you see.
This very, very special, hand-made, Award-winning Umnumzaan is priced $2,000 $1,700 now $1,600 including PP fees, & USPS priority shipping inside the US. No international please, and no trades. With a Prototype Sebenza 25 and Inkosi going for $2,500, this should be a decent value among current model CRK prototypes.
Please PM or Email me with questions. With Chris now a member of the Blade Cutlery Hall of Fame, this is an increasingly rare opportunity to own a piece of his personal handiwork, innovation, and ingenuity.
Thanks,
Steve
