This is a new design for me. Its a spin off from some Bowies I was working on. It has a spear point with an unsharpened swedge. The steel is 3/16 O1 tool steel with the heat treat scale left on the flats. The 6" blade has a saber grind to about 25 thousandths behind the cutting edge and a 25 deg micro bevel. That combination makes for a good strong edge that is still "hair whittling" sharp. The handle is a touch over 4 1/2" and made from wenge. Its held on with Acraglas, carbon fiber pins, and lanyard tube.
The leather sheath is made from 7-8 oz veg tanned with a hand tooling.
