Hey folks, I've got a little bit of 1" round W1 up for sale. All known to be W1 as they're machine shop drops. Each piece is ~6.75-7" long. $3/ea + shipping. I've got 20 at the moment, but will be getting some more shortly. I'll post up some pics tomorrow, I forgot to snap them today.

Thanks Deker, payment sent and the shipping address is with the paypal. Let me know if you need anything else.

Yup, I got it. Sorry, I haven't checked my email much today, I've been busy in the shop, doing stuff with my wife, and building a fire pit in the yard. As a matter of facgt, we just camre back inside from the maiden voyage of the new fire pit :)

All of these packages will be shipping Monday.

Thanks again folks, more will be posted as soon as I get it!

Hey Rob, did ya get my pmt.? Can't seem to get an email to ya.:(

Some days, things just don't work!

Got 100 more of these rounds in today!

Still just $3/ea!

I can fit up to 6 into a $5 flat rate box and I'm guessing up to 20 into a $10 flat rate box safely.

Post here or PM me if you'd like some.

Thanks,

Deker I will take 6 please. I suppose I should get more but I really need to limit my spending at the moment.
thanks a bunch

Can anyone tell me the alloy distinctions between W1 and W2? Also, what qualities differ in forging and finishing?

Phil,

You can think of W-1 as super clean 1095 for the most part. It lacks the vanadium of W-1 so you won't get the crazy hamons you get with Don's W-2, but you can still get quite a nice hamon with it.
