1" thick Nickel Silver

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a piece o 1" X 4" X 6" nickel silver for an upcoming project. So far my Google Fu has failed me. Does anyone have a source?

That might be tough to find. Jantz has 3/8" thick bar. Any chance you can solder a few pieces together?

A bar that size would be best cast, then milled flat.

Contacting a few online brass suppliers might get some results. Another choice would be to google for "White Brass" and for "C770". Look at the alloy mix - 18% is what you want.

I've seen a lot listed like Stacy said, 'white brass' as well as the good old 'German silver' designation. Usually out of our normal supply chain, and along the ornamental furniture, fittings, jewelry etc lines. And larger metal suppliers, especially those that carry the oddities like BeCu...
