You need two blades: One such as the Condor Village Parang or Pack Golok and the second any thin bladed knife you like for slicing or carving. For me, that would usually be a large 111mm SAK or a larger GEC traditional (#42) and the chopper.
Haven't tried out the Condor mini duku but it looks worthy of consideration. The Eco Parang is much like the Village Parang with a different handle. I always liked the wood handles just in case I need to so some sanding or thinning of the handle.
