1"x42" belt sander in canada?

I posted this in the canadian connection, but maybe there are some canadian knifemakers who have some ideas or some south of the border too who are willing to help out:

Hi guys,
The Delta SA180 is discontinued and very hard to find. The apparently equivalent Grizzly H8192 is not available in Canada.

I'll be looking to slow down the sander and the SA180/H8192 models make it easy to do so by removing the disc and adding in your own pulleys (http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/sh...hp?tid/817294/)

Anybody got any recommendations for a sander north of border?

There is a grizzley dealer in bellingham like 400 bucks for a 2x72 its good to start off. If you want a better machine then the guy in kamloops makes a nice one for 1400 delivered.

Thanks hellgap, I might go down stateside to pick something up, but i'm trying to start out wayyyyy cheaper, so I'll stick with the 1x42. I also got some leads from the good guys on the canadian connection (sorry for cross-posting).

Look up on Google a place called Active Machinery sales Ltd. I believe it is in Surrey BC. They have a nice 1x42 Kalamazoo grinder and some others. Sorry, I guess they're in Langley BC.
