1 Year with IWB carry

Its been about a year since I began carrying my Endura inside the waistband as a second carry knife, right at 3:30ish. I started first with the stock clip and then got one of Casey Lynch's deep clips, and that made a big difference in comfort and conceal-ability. A few things that have happened over the year:
I have not one day been without a knife, and that wasn't always true before. Even when my wardrobe wouldn't permit a knife, the Endura is still there. Even when I lend my primary out at a job, or put it down and forget where it is and don't see it for an hour, I always have one. The knife has not once fallen out or shifted from it's spot, even when working, cycling, wrestling with my kids, or whatever. That might be due to the FRN handle and t's texture. I also now rotate my primary edc blade more often than before so I get to play with the rest of the (small) collection.

That's it. Just wanted to share. I originally threw it in my waistband to try after reading that another forum member did the same and now I am sold for sure.

Happy summer all!

How is it sitting down, driving or in a chair or couch? Now you got me wondering about carrying my endura that way. When you say 3:30ish you mean like between 3 and 6?

I carry my Military the same way, as a second knife.

Very comfortable with a light, slim knife.

Intersting & cool to read.

I remember reading somewhere that someone sewed some small pockets in his underwear and carries a spare $20 and Spyderco Ladybug Salt H1. So, no rust. Pretty cool idea. So now, when I am at the pool, I usually have a Salt Ladybug in my swim suit flip pocket. Most of the suits I get have them around the 1 o'clock. Defiantly harder to "draw" and not suited for all needs. But, hey it is a knife to cut the kids hotdogs with. Ha.

Just behind my right hip. There seems to always be a belt loop right there on all my pants/shorts that the clip sits right behind. I really don't notice the knife is there at all, even when sitting and driving.

I'd like to think of the horror on my wife's face when I pull a knife out from my underwear to cut the kids food. The horror on my kid's faces too.

When I'm carrying a small (3 inch) I carry iwb 1 o'clock. The few times I carried a larger folder in that position I found it to be uncomfortable and dig. Scaling a wall would be the only time iwb would hinder me... those days are over thank goodness

I personally prefer Appendix IWB carry. If you don't anticipate having to use your knife then placing the clip on the fold behind the button makes it virtually invisible and allows me to carry up to a 5 inch(handle) closed. This is super stealthy but hard to replace. Usually I do it at between 12& 1 and then just toss a shirt over it.

Overkill.

What? Why?

I carry a Pacific salt this way sometimes, standard clip obviously though (my PM2 does have a Casey deep carry clip which I love). Works well in the river, lake, pool, reservoir, ocean. Although I mostly go with it clipped to my pocket. Carrying more than one knife has merits like you have found out OP.

In the summer my BM rift is too bulky in my shorts, I threw it on OWB at 3 o'clock , and love it,, faster to grab and don't even feel it's there.

I always carry my edc iwb with the clip hidden behind my belt and they nearby belt loop. Appendix location with the knife pointed down at my zipper, , about30-40 degrees below horizontal. I easily carry a Military or 710 this way all day and forget it s there. Also great concealment.

^Exactly. I've even carried a Praetorian T like that although it's usually a PM2 or CQC7 there.
