Interested in an ODC150 in Vanadis 4E if your doing knives in it again.

Had cut some knives with V4E but 3,78 mm thick.
IMO 150 mm blade is too long for that thickness.
Think 5" blade is the longest I cut.
When buy 4,78 for next knives will cut 150 mm ODC for sure ;)

Snowwolf - yes both mine production Hugo's designs ;)
Godzilla and Kraken - names gave by owner ;) J.

I'm by no mean an expert but I thought I recognized your style. There is something in your touch that really gets me. Especially in the big ones.

Yes, they are, as other 5 more.

Good for you :-) Are they for show only or you abused them too? (I totally respect both approaches btw)

One of mine gets to do heavy/unhealthy work (not torture tests levels, but plenty of abusive) and still no signs of failing.
I didn't know AISI A8Mod before, but I like it. At 58rc it's decent at holding edge. Does not tends to chip and still reasonably easy to sharpen.

For now, only to look at, but I’m buying a new house with a big backyard where I hopefully can put these beauties to work. The big ones are more than capable of splitting wood. I’m glad you like A8mod steel. I’m mostly a knife collector at this time, but if I had to choose only one steel, it would be A8mod. There’s tougher (NZ3, S7, K600, 4140, 4340, Maraging), more wear resistant (Vanadis 4 extra), but A8mod has a perfect combination of both, more focused on toughness, wish is perfect for wood work, for instance.

Well, I do believe i've been "brotherly" enough. Y'all had your chance.

I'll take it. I will email you shortly, Mr Kornalski.
