10" bladed JackHammer

I seem to have misplaced the buy button for these.

Jerry, can ya help a piglet out?!?? ;)

For me this would be the perfect 'only one knife' field knife.

At a thin 3/16" and being very pointy it could do small knife tasks - not perfectly, but in a way that you just couldn't do with a Battle Mistress, BB13, etc.

Yet at 10" and with a CBT grind I think it would have enough weight to be an adequate light chopper - good for bushwacking, trail clearing, trimming branches in the garden, etc. (Particularly if it was at the long end of the spec - say 10 3/4").

CBT would let it baton without getting stuck too easily, and being a Busse it could handle the impact of pounding in small logs and probably large ones, even in a 3/16" blade.

It is very pointy with a narrow width, a clip point and a swedge - unlike most light choppers, which have a broad blade and obtuse tip and no swedge - so would be a good stabber. E.g. it would probably do alright as a pig sticker. (Particularly if the swedge was narrow, the last inch of the swedge was sharpened and the point reinforced).

It would be small and light enough to take hiking without worrying about it, while still being a hugely capable tool.

And being INFI, it could handle being a thin and pointy blade that is subjected to abusive tasks.

I can't think of anything in Busse Kin that matches these criteria, so it would fill a unique niche in the line up. This is the one I'm most keen on out of O2W !!:thumbsup:
