10 Blems and 2 used Knives for 11/02

The BAS was THE steal today. No doubt! Everything else are steals too.

Good luck Umi! I hope ndog has room for both of us. I'm up to fifteen in two months. If the wife ever finds the stash spot I'll need to make permanent arrangements with ndog.

Just kidding really. She thinks Khukuri's are cool and generally speaking she takes no notice of such things. I'm blessed!

.....Im not up to 15, but solid in double digits. I think i got bit just a few weeks before you

My oldest boy loves chopping up wood, and oddly enough, has taken a shine to Kuks. (Apples dont fall far from the tree) he has the CAK, he liked that it was rated for use as a pry bar. He even tried to break it, bless his heart. At 6'1" and 140lbs, he cant get close to flexing it at all. He is sold, and i plan on ordering him a left hand sheath with a ?? For xmas.

Anyway, as long as they are enjoined by both of us, and the gardening stays in check, she will be ok with it. Of course, she only sees the tip of the iceberg, but shes not lookin to close. Now if/when she spots that Magnum, then i would be doing a song and dance

I had an extra long day at work and wasn't able to get on forum.. looks like I missed out again!!:grumpy:

Ah yes, the MAK! After reading your stories I couldn't pass on the one I bought off the DOTD. The Incredible Bulk. Not sure what I'll ever do with it but, it sure looks nice with several coats of Renaissance Wax applied.

Ballistol: Tjena :) Uppsalabo här, du?
Have a CAK with horn grips and though a bit slippery, its very nice but I have my eyes on a Siru with wooden grips cause I think they look awesome.

Okay nice. I want to have a kukri with black horn because of the looks. Like the black & brass combination.

A slightly slippery grip is not really a bad thing when swinging certain kukris. The smoothness allows the curved handle to roll into its cuts. A smooth handle is easier on the hands too

Who emailed on villager fit finish balance Knife?

Really don't even need to be that coarse. Just knock the shine off, really only the polishing compound and it won't be slippery hardly at all.
