10" Camp Knife Recommendations?

I'm looking for a camp knife in the 9.5-10" blade range, preferably 1/4" thick. Came looking for recommendations on knife models and brands. FWIW, I especially love buying from smaller, lesser known knife companies that have their craft together. I am also open to recommendations for custom makers that know how to make a chopper.
Currently looking at the Mineral Mountain Bullnoser but I really don't like false edges, especially when batoning.

Anyway, thank you for any recommendations

You haven't mentioned budget and how stainless it should be. I like "semi-stainless", so this is what I would do if I were you:

Choice 1) I'd check with Paul / CPE_Knives CPE_Knives , he has made several great heavy duty albeit light knives for me, in A2, S7, AEB-L, and M4
Choice 2) CPK light/medium or heavy chopper in D3V, if you can find one and your budget works. Best steel and _very_ ergonomic knives.
Choice 3) A Busse; I'd probably get a Jack Hammer 10, but there are many other options.

Roland.

Great maker

Here is the Carother's Medium Chopper, 10" blade

You will have to go to the secondary market for this one, but they do have a 12" Behemoth(er) chopper available on their website

if your budget is sub $200, I'd recommend a Nepal-made khukuri. Super useful

Sorry, on budget I'd be willing to go over 300 but would like to keep it beneath 400. Looking for carbon steel, I don't do stainless, sometimes make an exception for semi-stainless D2

If you want something "off the shelf" as they say, the ESEE Junglas 1 meets most of your criteria except for blade thickness at .188 . I have an ESEE 4 and the rep of ESEE is well deserved (in my limited experience with it).

.188" is more than enough for a knife of this style.
