Thanks for looking!

MAN THAT IS SWEET!!!!!!! Yes I was yelling. I love that combo. Ironwood is my first choice. Great job.

Oh jeez!

That is outstanding! I especially like.... hell there's nothing not to like about that blade:thumbup:!

Always liked your knives and this has to be one of the best. Wish I had the money, I'd get it right now.

I'm sure it will be gone fast, Dr. D where are U?

Thanks, Spearz. :)
I think Dr. D prefers straight steel over damascus. I owe him a knife already, but we haven't settled on a design.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I'm definitely making more bowies. I'll be doing a different guard and handle on the next one, and it's not san mai. It should be ready this week, if I get my rear in gear...

:) That's a nice blade. I was watching the race and missed it.:(
It reminds me of a knife a friend had when we were boys 55+ years ago. His uncle had bought it in Mexico in the 1930's Had a fancy sheath too. Somebody stole it when he was in college.
Bowies are always popular-at least since 1832 or so.:D
