Introducing the limited edition No.10 Shiori folding knife as the result of an exceptional collaboration with a Japanese master blacksmith. This masterpiece of craftsmanship is forged and hammered in Japan, made with multilayers of superior quality VG7 steel.
Tsugaru Uchihamono has chosen an exceptional steel: VG7, a multi layer stainless steel. Tsuchime hammering gives it an irregular surface that prevents moist food from sticking to the blade. With a hardness of 63 HRC, the blade offers a remarkable cut and a cutting edge that lasts over time. The handle is made from flamed maple, a luminous, shimmering wood.
I bought this straight from Opinel, while the blade is factory fresh, very very sharp with a thin san mai blade, I did make an, to me a necessary, adjustment to the handle. Typical Opinel handles are round, making it sometimes roll during use, I carefully sanded down each side to provide flat sections so it has a more positive grip during use.
This was a limited edition and as of now all have been sold. Your chance to buy a piece of history.
Price shipped in the USA is $380 as that was what I had paid for it and just looking to recoup those funds.
Payment by US Postal money order or check if I know you as I do not have paypal.

Thanks for checking,
G2
