SOLD
10 x 2 Bowie, Forged from 3/8” 5160, a big “smash mouth” kinda Bowie.
Overall length is 15”, blade is 10” long x 2” wide, and 3/8” thick at ricasso. Clip is sharp, convex edge, “brushed” finish. Handle is Missouri Black Walnut, very subtle piece, fits the “spartan” finish & looks of the knife. Guard is copper and will take a nice brown/red patina quickly, kind of takes that look of an old well worn penny. Tang on this knife is nearly as wide as the ricasso and runs to within 3/16” of the end of the handle.

If your looking for a "lightweight" Bowie this one aint it, if you want a sure enough handfull, this one will put a smile on your face, Price is $575, comes with soft case. email or call for further info, and thanks.

He-Man Power Bowie! Nice, Matt. Puts a smile on my face just seeing it here. Great job.

thanks guys, and for those asking, yes there is some forge pitting (purposefully left) on the ricasso. I dont chase pits on these cutting Bowies. What you see is what came off the anvil within 1/16" or less in any direction. I purposefully leave the blades however they look after grinding a few passes 60/120/220/Scotchbrite.

Great to see the big blades, they don't usually last very long here. Wish I had the extra cash right now.

I made 4 of these in the last week or so, 3 were orders, and this one was "extra". If it dont sell quickly I wont cry, always need a new Bowie for the woods! :)

Wonderful work. I love the look of the copper, not seen in many knives but it does add to the boldness. If I didn't have so many things going on at the moment I would grab this in a heart beat. Well done.

A great blade shape and fine work. I like the subdued look of the wood and the copper will soon match it.
