$100-$125 3.5in(ish) folder

ZT does have a few models that are non a/o, and the ones that are can be de-assisted to make very nice manual folders. ALOT of people have purchased a/o 350s and removed the torsion bar. one of my favs at around that price is the 200, which is non a/o, and bigger than the 350-but heavier. Benchmade has a very good line up at this price range and lower, I love the Griptilian 550HG, its my sharpest blade. The Bone Collector, Rift, Contego, and Onslaught are also very good knives from Benchmade. Spyderco has amazing knives as well at this price, Ive never had a Para2 but plan on getting one in the future because of all the good things Ive heard about them, and because they come in Digi Camo. :D Those are my three favorite production brands, because no matter what my price range is, if I pick one of these three companys I will be getting a great knife. Good Luck and keep us posted!

I hadn't thought about this, excellent suggestion. Although the 0550 and 0560 would probably be my first choices. The BM 810 is also on my list.

Ended up pulling the trigger on the Para 2 as everyone seems to love it.

Hands down, the Para-2 wins in that price class. If you want a black blade, you want the DLC coating that Spyderco uses on the Para 2, it's very tough.

Also, the comp lock is very simple and tough.

Congrats on buying the Para2. Let us know how you like it! Im sure you will enjoy it, I always hear how great they are, Im going to have to try one out. Good Luck!

The para 2 is a sweet knife. A griptilian would also work well and give you some money left over.

Yup, I love my grip. And I love that with Benchmade if you ever mess up the blade you can have it replaced! Not alot of companies that sell folders do that. It is an awesome knife, I have the 550HG version with the thumbhole and modified sheepsfoot blade. I love the look and function of this knife.
