If i hadn't just bought Ban's Santuko, i'd grab this one. Excellent deer knife for sure (or any other slicing tasks) and a relative 'gift' for $100.
I have 2 knives from Gerry and he really knows how to get a super sharp edge and make them balanced and with a perfect in-hand feel.
next guy who reads this should grab it. be the best $100 you ever spent on a knife.

That's a fine looking hunter Gerry, and the size I would choose for dressing out a deer, or even a moose (except for the "rimming" part).

You are right Bruce, this knife will field dress any North American game animal. I can always spot a serious hunter at a show when they pick up the smallest knife on the table.

Kudzu - you went and did it! I am just 2-1/2 hours behind the power curve on this one! You got a beauty! Hit us with some feedback when you get a grip on it!
