~$100 flipper suggestions

I would suggest the Kershaw Cryo, Kershaw Skyline, CRKT Ripple, Kershaw Needs Work, Kershaw Zing.

Flippers are quite fun to flip. I am sure you will enjoy it :)

Since you might still be waiting on your delivery, figured I would chime in for the fun of it. The CRKT Ripple and Eros are by far my favorite flippers for that price range. IKBS is even faster and smoother than assisted, and both knives are really light, the Eros being ridiculously so. The Acuto + steel gets extremely sharp, and holds it for a decent amount of time. Even the Chinese made Walmart Ripple is really good. It is lighter than the Steel Ripple, but still feels pretty solid. And for the price, it is one of the best deals of any knife I have ever owned.

The only downside to them that I have found, is that the Eros and the Steel Ripple do not have a housing for the Ball Bearings, so you have to pay attention if you take the knife apart and make sure you don't lose any. They don't come flying out by any means, but they are held in mostly by the grease in their little track. One of the times I was cleaning my Ripple, I put it back together, and was test flipping it. It felt fine, but when I went to clean up my "knife service depot", I saw two tiny ball bearings sitting on the the cloth I put on the table. Had to break it back down and replace them.

Pics to come when I get home from work.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm usually very very meticulous when it comes to servicing knives and usually quadrupletriple check everything! :) I'm really anxious to get a-playin' with my new toys, they probably won't arrive til late next week though.

And pic.
