100 Thousandth Member Give Away.

looks like SPXTrader got it, but the only other post in here was for another give away.

I will scan the thread for an eligible winner.

Hallaf was close, but that is his only post here.

Looks like Codger_64 will get the knife. (Please correct me if I missed someone).

Codger email me at Bastid with a gmail addy and I will get this to you.

Yep, That was my only post - I am very new to the whole forums thing. Been carrying/using knives since I was 8 YOA - 43 years later I discovered the value of writing thoughts about them. Maybe I'll be on the better side of that talent with the next Give-Away I run into. Congrats to Codger_64 :thumbup::thumbup:
I will certainly be more talkative next time:D
Thanks for the opportunity Bastid.

Thanks Erdelyi and Hallaf! And thank you Gus for the contest! I don't usually enter the give-aways here, but for a nice early Schrade commem, I couldn't resist!

I can't send you an email thru your profile, so sent one through administration. If that doesn't work, email me thru my profile. We'll connect somehow! Looks like this calls for a special research post on the Liberty Bell Commem!

Woow! 100,000 members!

Codger

Congrats Codger!! It couldn't have gone to a more deserving member:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks Eric and Kid! I'm working on the rant for this issue as I post. I've found the original company flyer and the warranty registration cards, and a memo from Henry Baer about them, just need to rustle through the production reports to see how many were made and when. And find a really good photo of one. The black sawcut Delrin fades out in the dark archived pics I have of them.

Congrats Codger, I'm glad you got it, it's good for both you and the knife.

Thanks Gus for your generosity.

No, you have to read the rules...

Gus, said when HE NOTICES that it happened., this is after it happens.

What time will HE notice? What time does the goat farm close? GUS ?

Good luck!

Todd

Well, then I'm still a dunce- for not reading the rules....LOL;)

Thanks anyway, Bastid...you're correct, I read a lot here, I learn a lot here, and I get a few chuckles here, but don't post a lot here...what's my count? Three hundred something?

But I enjoyed it anyway!

Sorry you feel that way SPXTrader.

Fact is you have made 3 posts in this sub forum.
1 a guess here.
2 your sour grapes here
3 another give away.

If you had bothered to read the rules, maybe your attitude would not be the way it is.
If you think you are an established contributor in the traditional forum, we would love to have you around here more or maybe not. :D.

Play closer attention to Rule 1.

The knife went to the correct person according to the original rules.
Your posts here don't come close to you being an established contributer in the Traditional Forum. I made that qualification quite clear on my initial post.

We are at 99,684 members.

The knife is a Schrade Liberty Bell Stockman (Brand spankin' new condition.). Knife was made in '75 or '76.

Rules.
1. You must be an established contributer in the Traditional Forum. (at least a few posts before this thread was stated.)

2. You guess the date and time that I notice we have hit 100,000 members or more. (Post your guess in this thread.)

I will pay up to 8 U.S. for shipping. So if any of our brothers off the continent want to join in. I will hit them up for part of the cost to get it to them.

Bastid,

I wasn't being sarcastic...I was sincere when I gave you a "Thanks anyway". No offense meant. I apologize if you took it that way...

Sorry for my misunderstanding, the above threw me for a loop and I hope you will hang around here more often :D.

Anyway the knife is on the way to Codger.

My rant on the commemorative issue is almost done. Just a few more details to look up and add. Hopefully we'll all learn a tad from the research on the knife.
