THICK 100% wool Boreal shirt size med for sale. I've only worn it once for a couple of hours. It's in perfect condition, clean and ready to wear. Unfortunately my skin is very sensitive to wool-itch, and it is just too scratchy for me around the face and neck, even with a hat on. Guess I'll have to stick with the 80/20 wool blend version.
This shirt is 30% thicker wool than the regular wool Boreal shirt, and is VERY warm. Really it is more like a pullover coat than a shirt. It is also heavier than the regular version. The color is more greenish than it appears in the photos, it is a greenish brown color. It has some extra features not usually found on these shirts because it was made as a one time model; it has a zip handwarmer kangaroo pocket, with fleece lining, with another zip nylon security pocket inside the handwarmer pocket, as well as 2 D-rings for keys, etc. It also has 3 back pockets!
This is an amazing heavy duty bushcraft hoody, the workmanship is fantastic and the wool is thick and looks indestructable; it was made from a pre-washed Yugaslovian army blanket. I'm bummed that I can't wear it, but my wimpy skin can't handle it... Don't buy it if wool itches you! Since I can't use it I'm going to pass it on for 225.00 and I'll cover US shipping and Paypal fees. I'll be happy to ship it to Canada, but you will have to cover the additional postage cost; I'm not sure, but it would probably be around 20.00 extra. PM me for more info.
I'll take PayPal or US money order, sorry no checks. First to post "I'll take it" gets it, but pls PM me as well. For sale on another forum also, so I will go by date and time stamp. Thanks!
PS I've had some sizing questions, so here are measurements taken while the shirt was laying flat: Armpit to armpit 26" (52" around), shoulder seam to bottom of sleeve 24.5", bottom hem side to side 24.5" (49" around), base of collar/hood to bottom hem 29". Hope this is helpful!
