1000 post giveaway

John (Stomper of JK Knives) contacted me a couple of weeks ago to let me know that it was time to make my knife, but he was having trouble contacting Todd A. Seems that Todd A hasn't been around here since the end of May. We hope he is ok. Anyway, I didn't want to let the knife slip away, so I paid for the knife. John, being unbelievably generous, thought that I should win "something" so he gave me the knife at the cost of the base EDC model! He also threw in a matching firesteel, hat, and one of his tin knives at no cost! The picture is his, not mine. I will take pictures later of everything and post them. I love the knives! The work on them is beautiful. I will definitely be a repeat customer of JK Knives.
 
Glad that it arrived in time for the weekend. I`m a little worried about Todd A, it`s not at all like him to just dissapear, and I still can`t reach him by email.
 
john (stomper) is a awesome guy to deal with and that is extremely cool of him i was following how he couldn't get a hold of the op. i hope all is well with todd. john again very cool of you to hook him up like this. i think most people would have just let the contest fade off in the back of the forums
 
Congrats - that's some pretty special customer service, stepping up to the plate to cover someone else's promise.
